TRForward is an ad-hoc community stewards group existing to promote the area. They strive to reinforce our collective decision to reside in this region - to work here, to play here, to raise our families here.

This group, through active community involvement and interaction, has identify a collective vision for the area. This vision, which is really a reflection of our collective assets and values, will allow this region to own an identity.

After almost 16 months of planning, the group of community stewards know as TRForward is excited to present our destiny!

The Visioning Process

The process started last January by defining our community and identifying what things made us strong and what could make us stronger. The next step was taking as much input as the community was willing to give on how to make our community a better place. Over 1800 people responded to our survey, and many showed up to make their voices heard at our community forums. Civic groups were consulted, and friends shared their dreams and ideas.

Using this valuable input, TRForward has set some aggressive but attainable drivers on how to become the community Thief River Falls wants to be. So now we are calling on you. Help drive our community forward. Help us reach our destiny. Be a part of something great – be a part of TRForward.

You can join us by coming to our Community Celebration May 11 at the Ralph Englestad Arena at 5:30 PM. Enjoy free refreshments, meet with the stewards who have been working on this project, and share your talents with us to help Thief River Falls reach its full potential.
