The Story of TRForward and the Visioning Process

TRForword is an ad-hoc group of citizen volunteers who are working together to find out what people in our community care about or are passionate about.

The Visioning Process

TRFowrard is charged with finding and reporting on our community's values. There are three committees that make up the group. Each group is tasked with a specific role: Buzz - to effectively communicate the group's mission and advancements; Assets - to understand the area's resources; Values - to better unederstand our shared values. The Purpose of the Visioning Effort

Communities across the United States are struggling with multiple issues. Thief River Falls is not exempt. A group of local citizens formed and agree that the Thief River Falls area is a fantastic place to live. This group wants to promote the area to reinforce our collective decision to reside in this region - to work here, to play here, to raise our families here. This group wants to identify a collective vision for the area. This vision, which is really a reflection of our collective assets and values, will allow this region to own an identity. This group of citizen voulenteers wants to lessen our struggles and reduce unplesant issues facing this community. This is our purpose.
